Join us in the Worthing area for our gentle, restorative sessions that promote overall well-being. Experience the health benefits of qigong on your mind and body in a welcoming and relaxed way.
Our sessions are based upon a modified version of the popular Shibashi Qigong and whilst generally a standing set of movements, it can also be effective done seated, for anyone unable to stand for long.

Qigong is a gentle movement practice which combines light flowing movements, breath and mental focus to cultivate and bring energy to the body, promoting relaxation, balance, health and wellbeing. It has become popular in recent years as a low impact exercise, and also a form of moving meditation and appeals to those wanting to keep their mind and body healthy and well.

Our sessions are based upon Shibashi style Qigong and we lead you gently through 18 slow, repeated, flowing movements to soft ambient music. Whether you are looking to restore health, improve energy, or find a moment of calm, our relaxed and non competitive sessions offer a supportive environment, in which to learn and practice this restorative and therapeutic healing art.

Qigong offers many physical, mental and emotional health benefits, often noticeable after just a few sessions. From physical improvements in joint flexibility, muscle strength, balance, injury recovery and overall fitness to relieved tension, stress relief, increased relaxation and improved concentration. In essence, it is a super power in rejuvenating mind, body and spirit.

Acupressure qigong uses self touch upon the body, rather than qigong movements or exercises. With pressure and vibration from our hands and fingers we promote the free flow of qi energy, by stimulating points along the meridian pathways. This helps to clear the meridians of blocked or stagnant qi, restoring balance and flow. Using a regular acupressure qigong routine or techniques can be either relaxing or energising, depending upon how you practice.

Acupressure qigong is a very easy and accessible practice to do on yourself, at any time. It can be beneficial as a regular relaxation practice, to help calm our mind and body and to bring a somatic connection back to ourselves. It also helps to regulate our nervous system, aiding our body's natural healing and repair processes. Through stimulating specific acupoints on the body we can also tap in to our body's internal medicine cabinet to help with everyday ailments such as colds, sinus issues, headaches, bloating, constipation, toothache anxiety and much more.

Hi there, I'm Pauline and I'm excited to be welcoming and leading you through our Be Well Qigong sessions, here in Worthing. I've lived here with my husband and our furbaby cat for the past 13 years.
After living with disabling chronic fatigue, for over a decade, I discovered the benefits of Qigong as part of my search for recovery and wellness. Having this gentle restorative movement practice, along side my other healing modalities, has been instrumental in enabling me to move my body once again, and bring energy and flow to those parts of me which were stressed, stuck and stagnating.
I am now a certified Shibashi Qigong Session Leader, and as I continue with my practice and healing, I want to share the joy and benefits of this simple yet powerful practice with others looking to maintain or improve their own MindBody wellness.
If you have any questions or would like to book a session, please email using the link below. Or you can phone or text us. We look forward to hearing from you.
